TOYO Robotics Americas is proud to announce the official release of the GTB Series Belt Drive Actuator, our next-generation high-velocity linear motion platform engineered for high-thrust, heavy-payload industrial applications.
Building upon the success of our popular GLTB Series, the GTB Series introduces a significantly expanded mechanical architecture—featuring a wider, high-tooth-profile belt, higher load capacity, and increased thrust ratings designed for high-throughput factory automation.

Step-Up Performance: GTB vs. GLTB Series
While the GLTB series remains an industry staple for compact, high-speed belt applications, modern automated assembly lines, packaging cells, and Cartesian gantries increasingly require higher payload transfer without sacrificing velocity. The GTB Series bridges this gap:
- Larger Belt Profile & Increased Thrust: Equipped with a wider, steel-reinforced polyurethane belt utilizing an optimized high-tooth engagement profile. This design maximizes drive torque transmission, allowing for significantly higher linear thrust output and higher acceleration profiles (up to 2.0G) without belt slip or stretch.
- Heavy Payload & Moment Load Resistance: Embedded high-rigidity linear guideways inside a reinforced aluminum frame deliver exceptional moment-load resistance and structural stiffness, accommodating heavy dynamic payloads across long spans.
- High-Velocity Long-Stroke Envelope: Overcomes the critical speed limitations of ball screws, achieving linear velocities up to 5,000 mm/s and continuous travel lengths up to 3,000 mm.
- Precision Repeatability: Delivers reliable positioning repeatability down to ±40 µm (±0.04 mm), making it ideal for precision sorting, pick-and-place, and long-axis gantry transfer.
3 Frame Sizes & Integrated Motor Options
The GTB Series is available in three versatile body widths:
- GTB5: Compact 54 x 60 mm frame for tight spatial envelopes and stroke lengths up to 2,200 mm.
- GTB8: Medium-duty 82 x 78 mm frame with strokes up to 3,000 mm.
- GTB12: Heavy-duty 120 x 76 mm frame engineered for maximum payload capacity and strokes up to 3,000 mm.
In addition to standard motor bracket configurations, the GTB series also offers GMB integrated motor variants (e.g., GMB5, GMB8), streamlining installation and minimizing the overall machine footprint.
